We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a few years of professional experience who wants to work in Child Rehabilitation and Pediatrics. In our workplace, there are three psychologist positions, colleagues from several professional categories, and a strong team spirit.

We are now seeking a licensed psychologist with a few years of experience. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with children and adolescents. We place great importance on your personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure your work, and can work independently. You see the big picture and consider the broader perspective. You understand your role but prioritize the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions.

What you will work with

The target group for rehabilitation is children and adolescents with congenital or acquired disabilities. We work in a multiprofessional team that includes a psychologist, nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, social worker, and doctor. We also collaborate with a dietitian and speech therapist. Good cooperation between the professional groups is essential for quality in the work with patients and their relatives/network. Interventions are planned based on the rehabilitation plan established together with the child and their relatives. With our interventions, we aim to reduce the difficulties that disabilities may cause in daily life, create conditions for a good life, and promote participation in society. In our work, we start from each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

As a psychologist, you will work on assessing and diagnosing developmental disabilities, providing advice to parents and networks based on the consequences of the disability, as well as individual psychological treatment. The psychologist also regularly participates in team conferences for collaboration with other professional categories and in network meetings for collaboration with other agencies. Training and supervision are also included in the position. Travel may occur within the catchment area.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled during the day. Start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. The position is within pediatric care: We apply a background check before making a hiring decision according to the provisions of the Act (2013:852) on background checks for persons working with children.
